Social Visitation

Social visitation is a privilege that can be restricted or denied for specific periods of time. Self-reporting inmates (weekenders) inmates on disciplinary restrictions and inmates who have not been classified are not eligible for social visitation. The inmate is responsible for deciding who can and cannot visit him or her. Social visits are on a first come, first served basis. An inmate may receive one 15-minute visit with up to three visitors. Adults visitors must produce a valid government-issued photo identification card (driver's license, state I.D. card, etc.), sign a registry, and accompanied by the visitors' legal guardian. Outstanding warrant files will be checked.

8:30am-11:00am and 1:30pm-4:00pm
Every 2nd and 3rd Saturday 8:30am-11:00am and 1:30pm-4:00pm

You may also visit an inmate from home through Securus https://securustech.net/videovisitation charges apply. The same rules apply. Sun-Sat from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Visitation Rules
All juvenile's visitors (persons under age 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Juvenile inmates (16 and 17 years of age) may receive social visitors and the visitor is either the juvenile's parent or legal guardian or the juvenile visitor is accompanied by the juvenile's parent or legal guardian.

Visitors who become loud or disruptive, are intoxicated, fail to control the behavior of their children, or otherwise violate detention facility rules may be asked to leave and/or banned from the Hoke County Detention Facility.

Professional Visitation

Professional visitors include law enforcement officials (detectives, probation officers, etc.), legal representatives (attorneys, paralegals, etc.), and certain medical service providers.

Professional Visitation Hours
Professional visitors may visit inmates Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Contraband

It is unlawful to smuggle or otherwise pass any item of contraband to any inmate, over any fence or into any enclosure, or to trespass with in 25 feet of any fenced enclosure, or of the Hoke County Detention Facility. Violators will be arrested and prosecuted.

Contraband is any item forbidden by or not specifically authorized by jail rules, any excessive property or property which has been altered from its original condition or converted to another use such as weapons, drugs, and cigarettes.

All visitors entering this facility are subject to thorough search and/or temporary detention.
